Magnetic North

I believe that places hold memories and that people can be inextricably linked to place, whether it be through ancestral links or firsthand experience. I seek to learn more about my grandfather and Greenland by physically being in the places he travelled to in the early 1940s. I want to experience firsthand the geography, climate, and culture of Greenland and its people. I want to understand how Greenland has changed over the past 70 years and how it continues to change.
